The Marin City Community Development Corporation (MCCDC) was established in 1979 to improve the economic quality of life for Marin City residents. Toward this end, MCCDC promotes business opportunities, creates income-generating programs, promotes full employment, builds skills and promotes the concept of economic self-sufficiency. Committed to expanding economic opportunity, Marin City Community Development Corporation's primary efforts center on:

• Increasing incomes and assets for individuals and families
• Building community wealth and benefits
• Enhancing business development opportunities
• Developing, preserving and expanding affordable housing options
• Providing technical assistance expertise and management services to the broader non-profit community.
